Over a hundred Australian women have brought themselves, their talents and their voices to the international community of Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. We number about 8,000 women from more than 70 countries.

We live a balance of prayer and action and the Institute's orientation to universal mission asks the Sisters to be ready to go anywhere at the service of the Gospel.

There are five steps towards membership of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary: First Contact; Pre Novitiate; Novitiate; Temporary Vows; and Final Vows.
